Step 1: Prepare Your Artwork for the Best Results

For large banners, vector files are strongly preferred. Vectors stay perfectly sharp no matter how large we print your banner and make text and logos crystal-clear even from a distance.

If your design includes photos or complex illustrations, a high-resolution raster file works very well — just create it at (or scaled to) your final banner size.

Quick checklist for highest quality:

•  Design at your exact final banner size (or larger) whenever possible.

•  For raster files, use 150 DPI minimum at final size (75–100 DPI is often enough for outdoor banners viewed from 10+ feet away; use 300 DPI for close-up indoor displays).

•  Use CMYK color mode if possible (we convert RGB automatically).

•  Convert all text to outlines/curves.

•  Add 1–2 inches of bleed around all edges (extra area for trimming or hems).

•  Keep important text/logos at least 2–3 inches away from the edges (safe area).

Step 2: Recommended File Formats & Extensions

Here are the file types we accept, ranked from best to good:  .ai / .eps / .svg / .pdf / .psd / .png / .jpg / .tif

Tip: Export from Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Affinity, or Inkscape using the options above. PDF is especially popular and reliable for banners.

Step 3: How to Upload Your File

1.  Choose your banner size and finishing options (grommets or no grommets) and add to cart.

2.  On the order form / product page, look for the “Choose File” button.

3.  Click it and select your file from your computer (large files are normal for big banners — we can handle them).

4.  In the order comments box, note your exact dimensions and any special requests (e.g., “Add 2” bleed”, “Grommets every 2 feet on top and bottom”, “Matte finish”).

Alternative: If the upload field isn’t showing, complete your order and reply to the confirmation email with your file attached (or send to [info@printrepublic.net]).

Step 4: What Happens Next – Your Proof

1.  Within 1 business day (often same day), we’ll email you a digital proof.

2.  The proof will show:

•  Your artwork at final printed size

•  Bleed area and safe zone

•  Any finishing details (grommet placement, hems, pole pockets, etc.)

3.  You can request changes — unlimited revisions until it’s perfect.

4.  Once you reply “Approved” or click the approve button, we print and ship your banner (production time varies by size/material — we’ll confirm in the order).

You’ll receive tracking info as soon as it ships.

Quick Tips for Perfect Banners Every Time

•  Viewing distance matters — text should be large and bold if the banner will be seen from far away.

•  Outdoor banners — we recommend weather-resistant materials and UV inks (let us know in comments).

•  File too big to upload? Compress it lightly or send via Dropbox/Google Drive link in your order notes.

•  Need help? Send a rough layout or screenshot — we’re happy to assist with layout, sizing, or color adjustments.

•  Not sure about bleed or safe area? Just upload your design centered on a canvas the size of your banner — we’ll add the proper bleed for you.
